Founders
Dr. Masoud Akhshik — Strategic R&D & Grant Writing, AI, Robotics & Quantum
Dr. Masoud is an interdisciplinary scientist and consultant with dual PhDs in Environmental Studies and Nanobiotechnology, and a postdoctoral fellowship in AI and Robotics. He has secured more than $2.7 million in funding across 20+ projects in AI, robotics, nanotechnology, Quantum and sustainability. As a grant writing expert, he has guided proposals for NSERC, Mitacs, FedDev, OCI, OVIN, IRAP, Horizon Europe, and more. His work also extends into quantum computing and sensing, where he helps organizations explore early applications and align them with strategic funding. At AHTC, Dr. Masoud focuses on strategic R&D planning, grant strategy, and pilot-to-scale delivery.
Dr. Behnaz Ashtari — Nanotechnology, Nanomedicine & Microfluidics
With over 20 years of experience, Behnaz is a leading expert in nanomaterials, nanomedicine, and microfluidics. Her work bridges fundamental science and real-world applications, from advanced biomaterials to next-generation diagnostic devices. She has an extensive track record of publications, patents, and collaborative research, making her a trusted partner for organizations looking to explore nanotechnology solutions. At AHTC, Behnaz leads projects in nanomaterials development, biosensor integration, and applied nanomedicine.
Sanaz Ebado — Brand Strategy, Marketing & Product Design
Sanaz is an expert in brand strategy, marketing, and product design, with a keen ability to position technologies for market adoption. She brings a creative and business-oriented lens to AHTC, ensuring that innovations are not only technically advanced but also market-ready and user-centered. Sanaz specializes in building brand identity, shaping go-to-market strategies, and aligning product design with business goals.
